Countdown saw the success Woolworths was having with Localz and wanted to bring the customer experience to New Zealand.
With a competitor having entered the Click and Collect realm in New Zealand, Countdown wanted to ensure they kept offering their clients a seamless experience when they came to collect their purchases, keeping the wait times down and giving back time to their customers.
The Localz solution was easily integrated into the existing Countdown customer app. Localz also provided an attendant app for Countdown team members to be notified when a customer was coming to collect their online purchases.
With the Countdown team members easily notified of a customer's approach, they can ensure all the items are ready at the collection desk, ensuring a quick and smooth pick-up.
The attendant app even allows for team members to check if any age-restricted items are present and request ID and a signature before releasing those items.
